Verse

Her eyes
bright with hope
Her smile
ooze perennial confidence
Her hair
shadows the moonlight
Her gaze
across the horizon
Her lips
silent in thoughts

She broke my heart...

 end to your poem

And the world would close down, like a shop having done with its day
And then you would look into the vacant sky with your vacant eyes asking the unfathomable question "why did it happen to me"
The silence will crawl closer to you; planning to swallow you into an eternity of unanswered questions
Your ears will buzz with people talking in loud voices, very fast, as if life is flying past them, at a breakneck speed
You would wonder if this is the end of sanity
Then you would invite sleep with all your might
Then you will ask for the gift to let go; for the gift to forgive and for the gift of peace.

Hey man...you sound really broken...Sorry to hear this. Try to win her back...it's never too late. All the best!
